@VideoFanOne Yes, Californians are more laid back (the only reason being they drive cars), and also more mindnumblingly stupid as well. New Yorkers are only less laid-back because of the transit system, but they definitely know how to live life, especially since they live in the most exciting city in the world. And that’s why NY will always kick Cali’s ass when it comes to which state is better.
@VideoFanOne I’m not saying that NY is the best (even though it is), I’m just saying that Cali sucks, and if you think it’s the most populous state because people like it then you’re clueless. The only reason Cali has the highest population is because of it’s size, and of weather. Without Cali’s weather, no one would move there because it has nothing. Many people actually say that they would definitely live in NYC if it weren’t for the weather.
@VideoFanOne New York is better and I have never even thought that it was a debate to simply put it NY is just a better place to be. the east coast owns the west. we have the best colleges, better cities, and more history then the west. plus the east coast is where it began for the expansion of this country. the only good thing on the west coast is SF but that does not compare to NYC. don’t get mad i’m not saying California is bad i am just saying New York is the best. they never sleep.

@picklemonster1001 Americans don’t hate Brits. We don’t typically judge people based on nationality unlike many Europeans. You’ll find that we are naturally open and friendly, and non-judgmental. But NYC is a massive place, so you’ll encounter all types of people. And NYC is the most international city in the world, so your unlikely to find a “stereotypical American” here. Most are business people, and young hipsters.
