On the bus trip to Ubud I met Lucie and Stephanie, two French girls backpacking around Bali for 2 weeks. Stephanie worked in Jakarta and had a strong grasp of the Indonesian language. @JoshuaBeeLoved it depends on what are u looking for. ubud, is more cultural place and greener than the city, has a lot of natural things more than the modern. kuta is such a crowded area, has lots of clubs and good shops too. there is couple beach. this is a perfect place to have an open relationship, lots of young people at the beach who i think nice to make friends with. sanur is more like for 40 years up who finds peace. near the beach but really quiet. for beach lover, ULUWATU ofcourse.
I want to visit Bali for about 2 months. I want to stay in a very beautiful area, yet I also want to be close to the locals to learn the way of life, and hopefully build some relationships. What would you recommend I do, or where I should go?
